Today, we continued with the tool back to make the insides, and then to put the inside and outside bag together, as well as making a draw string bag, and a small pouch. After that, the women made a stuffed toy cat, which they enjoyed.
I was relieved that Kizzy could join in teaching today! She is a woman of many talents, and it was so good that she could speak not only Lozi, Ela, Nyanja, Bemba, and English, but Tonga too! In addition, she is a motivational speaker too, and encouraged the women to share their knowledge too.
As my mother observed Kizzy (her student of 2012), she commented, smiling, “They are in good hands”.
