Nyawa and back to prepare for sewing

Today was a travel and move day! I left shortly after 7 am to travel to Nyawa to pick up the machines while the ladies travelled by public transport from all around the Nyawa chiefdom to Livingstone. Yesterday, I went with Phonica and Caroline to purchase food supplies for the 11 women.

Unfortunately, two of them could not be reached about the change in plans. It is hard to imagine that someone is so remote that you don’t even have cell phone reception. So, the group will be sharing their knowledge with the two women on their return.

Below is a video introducing the women – Shelly, Cecilia, Priscilla, Victoria, Queen, Idah, Cathrine, Monica, Maggie, Jenipher, and Virginia.

  2. Emily Dickenson once said…If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; if I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto its nest again,I shall not live in vain….this saying reminds me of you and your mission….you and your mom are saving quite a few robins it seems…good luck and enjoy….you go girl…eendag sal al die liefde wat jy uitdeel veelvoudig terugkom na jou toe…
