2001: Dorothy Munsanda asked Griet le Roux to teach her how to use an old sewing machine that was a donation.
Griet lives 2000km away in Johannesburg, South Africa
Griet and Elsie travelled to Zambia for 10 days, training Dorothy on how to care for and operate her machine.
They taught other women to cut and sew a child’s dress by hand.
This lead to the Share Your Knowledge Program
2003: Dorothy started a women’s knitting group, she taught other women to work on her sewing machine,
For the first time in her life she was earning money and was able to buy shoes for her children.

The Share Your Knowledge is a project to share knowledge and tools to the Tonga People across multiple disciplines including Sewing

2005: The first sewing group was formed, with the help of Chief of Nyawa help the group of ten women from villages.
The workshop was held at Mize Boma, Griet’s sister’s farm.
2009: Lianti meets Daniel and Florence Mayapi,
2010: Lianti introduced the Mayapis and New Life Tabernacle and Cell Ministries to Trinity Church as prayer and fundraising partners.
2012: With the support of iTeams Canada, Impact Zambia is born.
2014: Land is set aside for the Life Impact Training Centre, Religious studies is added to the list of programmes offered.
2014: Construction started on the new Life Impact Training Centre.
Everyone helped, men, women and children to build a centre to better their lives and the lives of their neighbours.
